Amanda and Boy George!
As well as playing for weddings, The Quintessential Quartet has provided the music for numerous events at stately homes such as Spencer House, Castle Howard, Castle Ashby, Sandringham, Althorp and Kedleston Hall. The Quartet now has a regular concert series in Andalucia, Spain and will be making three visits there in 2007.
The Quintessential Quartet has played at numerous top hotels including The Dorchester, Grosvenor and Savoy in London. More locally we play regularly at Hassop Hall, Riber Hall, Fischer's, Risley Hall, Billesley Manor, The Priest House and many others.
More unusual bookings include prestigious corporate functions, car launches, Antiques Fairs at the NEC, Goodwood, Henley Regatta, black tie Mess Dinners at several army bases and even Boy George's birthday party, for which Amanda arranged 'Karma Chameleon' for string quartet!
The Quintessential Quartet has worked alongside Pavarotti, Kiri te Kanawa, Dame Vera Lynn, Jeremy Beadle and many other famous names.
Scheduled for early 2005 is a recording for BBC Radio.
